So I was reading an article about bottomless lakes and holes in the ground. It said if the air was drawn out, it would take 20 hours to fall to the center of the earth, where it would be 6000 degrees. Then 20 hours more to the other side, where you’d be drawn back again by gravity. Unfortunately, in real life, after 12 km drilling, the equipment breaks down from heat, and so the deepest hole that’s ever been drilled is 12.3 km. So this strip is fiction. 🙁 Too bad, because it is true Skeeter could survive 40 hours without air and 6000 degrees heat.
Next time we’ll see what else he can survive….
Poor Skeeter!!! Hahaha!
