This is the original 1987 Dr Gruesome set. Yes it is painted on the wall, because our budget was the $20 for two cans of paint and brushes. (I probably already had the brushes.) Matt and I painted this in a couple of days. The table was an old film editing table no one was using.
After it had been on a couple years, we had some budget and added the fireplace wall. The props and desk stuff was in plastic bins in the promo closet. Now they’re in my garage…..
So one year Fox showed Rocky Horror, and Skeeter and I hosted it at the ….uhhhh,……… I don’t remember what it was called, but it was like the CineBistro, so there was a movie and food. We talked and ate and gave out prizes.
